Yoga has been a part of my life for more than 23 years – 15 years as a yoga teacher.
Starting off in Germany as a school teacher, I then taught in Denmark and Korea, where I discovered Yoga.
Teaching and Yoga came together during the three year British Wheel of Yoga (BWY) Diploma Teacher Training Course in Yorkshire, where I qualified in 2002.
In the beginning I followed an Iyengar based approach focusing on precision in postures. Subsequently more and more aspects and areas of Yoga opened up which have become important parts of my Yoga practice and teaching.
You can find the list of courses and modules undertaken to develop and expand my knowledge and experience on the right hand side.
My teaching is informed by the holistic Satyananda Yoga teachings which are scientific based and also provide deep insights. I received my spiritual name Pujananda from this tradition.
Although Yoga for most of us starts on a Yoga mat it can become much more than that when we start using its tools, benefits, techniques and wisdom outside the class. Yoga can enhance health, wellbeing, strength, flexibility and mindfulness, supports personal grow and self-development.
